Forestville Veterinary and Bird Hospital features a dedicated surgery suite with state-of-the-art monitoring devices to offer unmatched care for your beloved pet. You can depend on our years of experience for spays, neuters, dewclaw removals, lacerations, biopsies, and more, all under anesthesia.
We perform surgical procedures on avians, reptiles, and small mammals on a routine basis. Your pet will be well cared for with everything from fracture and shell repairs to crop surgeries, spays, and neuters. We can also prescribe medication for pain control to ensure your pet's comfort after the surgery.

Pet Anesthesia
We also offer anesthetic for your pet for any procedure that would require it to be unconscious, such as surgeries, X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans. We use premedication with injectable drugs to help your pet relax and to ensure that the administering of the anesthesia is smooth and safe.
We'll monitor your pet's heart and lungs closely during this process, much like a doctor would monitor you during anesthesia in a hospital. We'll monitor your pet's reflexes visually and keep track of its blood pressure, level of blood oxygen, and its heartbeat using our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
